Gemma Ward 

“Nurse Gemma” has five years’ experience in the Veterinary World, and strives to grow her nursing and technical knowledge. She began working with our practice while attending study, and graduated in 2014 from the Gatton Campus of the University of Queensland. She enjoys helping our students find their feet.

Gemma has always been passionate about animal health and could not imagine working in any other industry. She is committed to ensuring patients (and their humans!) in her care go home happy and healthy, and has personal experience living with pets with heart, kidney and joint disease.

Gemma is always ready to greet everyone with a big smile and happy to help owners with questions in any way she can. She enjoys video games, cuddling puppies, and drawing cartoons.
